Pinot Noir is so beloved for its expression of terroir when grown and treated well. This Pinot does exactly that - it's not a Burgundy; it's a Southeast Kelowna slopes Pinot and man it's good.
Lush and floral with aromas of ripe red cherries, dried strawberry, rose petal, violet, forest floor, subtle dried thyme, and graphite. Evolves into a slightly richer, darker profile featuring bramble berries, blackberry, pomegranate, and blood orange, balanced by herbaceous undertones and subtle spice.
Handpicked Dijon Pinot Noir plantings, 100% wild (spontaneous) fermentation in small lots. Whole bunch inclusion: 15% to 20% whole bunch inclusion during fermentation. Aged for 11 months in a selection of French oak barriques (10% new).
