Zinfandel 2019, Turley, USA

It's a big boy - but so incredibly balanced. Silky, dense with fruit tones. Dry farmed. One of the best Zins out of California. Organic practices.

Juvenile is actually composed of a variety of young vines that have been replanted in several of Turley's old vine sites. They tag the younger vines then pick them separately and make a distinct wine. Juvenile vines range in age from about 6-25 years.

Fermentation: Native yeast Barrels: 95% used oak, 5% new 80% French oak, 20% American. Aged for:12 months in barrel. Bottled unfined.
