This is the side project of Guillaume Gonnet (who also makes wine at Famille Gonnet) and his Australian wife Kelly, who he met while earning his global winemaking chops down under. Cairanne is one of the myriad of appellations in the Southern Rhône, and while this wine follows the rules in terms of the juice inside, you'll notice the bottle is without the fancy glass crest - and that's because it is only made for export. Magnificently modern.
