Vieux Chateau Bayard, Montagne Saint Emilion, 2021, France

This Bordeaux blend is 75% Merlot, 25% Cabernet SauvignonAromatic and quite racy. Lots of juicy fruit initially and then ripe tannins on the finish. Very much a game of two halves. Cracking value this. Modern styled, its packed with bright cherry and plum fruit, with integrated oak making it rich and smooth.
