Bardolino Chiaretto 2021, Monte del Fra, Italy
Regular price
£13.95
Pale and dry and creamy - from near Lake Garda; lovely with salumi, cin cin! It's winning a legion of fans in the shop for its easy-going texture and soft flavours. It's made from a grape called Corvina, which also makes the Italian greats, Amarone and Valpolicella.
Chiaretto is the name given to the rosé (clear and pale) version of a light red called Bardolino and it's got its own website, with lots of lovely aspirational photos of how to drink this. But trust us, you don't need to be by a large, stunning lake to enjoy this.
