Named after Chiara Ciavolich's grandmother who was forbidden to marry, because her parents didn't want to pay a dowry, and was passed over in favour of her younger brother when it came to running the winery when their father died. We're talking the 20th century here... The wine itself is plush, with plummy and black cherry tones. Great for sipping with pizza, pasta, spag bol or a good burger.
