Champagne Albert Levasseur is a very small grower house set up by David's grandparents in 1944, the 4.2 hectares of vines farmed by David since 2003.
A blend of organically farmed Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with 14 per cent of the latter made as a proper red wine then blended in, so dark pink in colour. Full flavoured, on the strawberry spectrum, but dry and elegant.
