‘Zöbing Riesling 2020, Schloss Gobelsburg, Austria

Schloss Gobelsburg is Cistercian-owned winery dating back to Mediaeval times,  in the Kamptal DAC wine region (north west of Vienna), leased to winemaker Michael Moosbrugger. Zörbing is a village known for its Riesling terraces. Partly matured in large old casks and has plumper fruit and, we think, more charm than some other dry Rieslings.
