Description
Andrew and Emma Nielsen seek out small parcels of vines in Burgundy, turning the grapes into fabulous wines at their cuverie in Beaune. Les Boucherottes is a premier cru vineyard in the Côte d’Or region of Burgundy.
Grapes come from the southern end of the Beaune Premier Cru slope. This is an iron-rich white soil, rocky at the top, transitioning to more of a marl at the bottom. Mainly whole bunch fermentation. A year ageing in old oak barrels. 2035 bottles made.
