Raiz Branco 2019, Tiago Teles, Portgual

It's called a branco - but the juice for this wine (made from aromatic Loureiro grapes) has spent about two months in contact with the skins, and then 11 months on lees in cement tanks. 

From Minho, near the Spanish border - known to most of us as the place where vinho verde comes from. But there is so much more to this region beyond very young wine.

If you love Alvarinho (albarino) this is definitely one to try.  You don't have to be an orange wine fanatic to dive into this - especially with a plate of  ceviche or sashimi.
