Aglianico is often presented as a big beast. Here it is blended with a clone Aglianicone (bigger berries...) and the juice only has three or four days maceration with the skins, so it is bright and juicy, slips down with remarkable ease (trust us) - and really great with a whole host of food. It's no coincidence since one of the people behind this wine used to be a sommelier (Jack Lewens, ex-River Cafe and now co-owner of Leroy in Shoreditch). Comes from Cilento, south of Naples, from organically-farmed land.
